About Sis. Cindy Berry
Sis. Cindy Berry became a follower of Jesus Christ at the age of 17. As a young teenager, she developed a deep love for ministry through her local church, where she sang in the choir, assisted in the elementary girls' Sunday school, and helped in junior church. She believes these early opportunities played a key role in leading her to salvation and shaping her lifelong passion for serving the Lord.
After graduating high school, Cindy attended Southeastern FWB College to grow in her walk with Christ and seek clarity in God’s will for her life. It was there she met her husband, Steve Berry, and they were married following his junior year.
Cindy and Steve have devoted their lives to ministry together, serving in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Cornerstone FWB Church and Christian School for 11 years, participating in a church revitalization project in Crewe, Virginia for two years, and later ministering for 14 years at Graceway FWB Church in Melbourne, Florida. They currently live in Wendell, North Carolina, where they are members of Garner FWB Church and lead the KOPs Kids ministry, working with elementary-aged children.
Cindy and Steve are blessed with three married children and their spouses—Meagan & Michael, Matthew & Megan, and Bobby & Olivia —all of whom serve in ministry roles in local churches, as well as twelve grandchildren, ranging in age from one to eight! Cindy treasures her family deeply and delights in every hug and kiss from her grandchildren.
In recent years, Cindy has experienced a renewed and deepened love for the Word of God, discovering His peace, joy, and unfailing love in new ways. Her greatest desire is to share that love with everyone she meets.
